France Form: Thrilling win against the All Blacks

France maintained their recent edge over New Zealand last week with a come-from-behind 30-29 victory - their third win in succession against the All Blacks - at the Stade de France.

That made it two wins from two for Les Bleus in the Autumn Nations Series, and although you can argue they were somewhat fortunate to win last week, they are clearly capable of grinding out results against the top nations even when they are not at their fluent best.

Argentina form: Narrow loss to Ireland

Argentina delivered a stirring second-half display against Ireland in Dublin last weekend but just came up short in a 22-19 defeat, but they proved once again that they belong at the top table in world rugby and they will back themselves to give France a game here.

That followed a dominant win over Italy a week prior, and having beaten each of South Africa, New Zealand and Australia in the Rugby Championship this year, Los Pumas are clearly capable of matching any team on their day.
