But that backline couldn’t keep Jordan at bay for 90 minutes. They got the better of Palestine by three goals to one, meaning the latter are in fifth-place with one point.
If Palestine are to start putting wins on the board, they will need to improve going forward and the likes of Wessam Abou Ali, goalscorer against Jordan is likely to be crucial to their plans with good service to him being vital.
