The home team come into this on the back of a 2-2 draw against Croatia last month which was a surprising result. The Slovakians have been underwhelming in the last couple of years and their UEFA Euro 2020 showing was poor - they only qualified for that via the ‘backdoor’ entry of the UEFA Nations League playoffs.
