The world champions of France took a break from qualification last month as they went and won the UEFA Nations League. FIFA World Cup and UEFA Nations League champions, a squad that consists of the very best world talent and yet, somehow, they remain unconvincing. A switch to a back three last month seemed to help their counter-attacking capabilities but it still lacks a certain balance. That really shouldn’t matter here, though. Whilst Kazakhstan have been a stubborn side and much-improved, picking up impressive points against Ukraine twice and Bosnia-Herzegovina, they remain a weak team. France should win this with over 2.5 goals in the match.
