CHILE PREVIEW: CHILEAN FRUSTRATION
Former Peru boss Ricardo Gareca is attempting to implement his usually slick and progressive style of football with the Chileans but things aren’t quite clicking and he is coming under a fair bit of pressure at the moment.
The pressure ramped up with a 3-0 hammering at the hands of world and South American champions Argentina the other day with Chile conceding three second-half goals to Alexis Mac Allister, Julian Alvarez and Paulo Dybala.
BOLIVIA PREVIEW: RELIANCE ON LA PAZ
As is now a cliché but genuinely true, Bolivia have the advantage of playing in the high altitude of La Paz and that can often give them a massive edge against other South American opponents, as was the case against Venezuela the other day.
Up against an improving Venezuelan side, Bolivia managed to dispatch of their opponents by four goals to nil with strikes coming from Ramiro Vaca, Carmelo Algaranaz, Miguel Terceros and Enzo Monteiro.
CHILE TEAM NEWS: FULLY FIT
Alexis Sanchez is not a part of the squad due to injury but the rest of the squad is fully fit with Ricardo Gareca having to make changes following their hammering against Argentina.
PREDICTED XI (4-3-3): Gabriel Arias; Isla, Catalan, Paulo Diaz, Thomas Galdemas; Osorio, Rodrigo Echeverria, Marcelino Nunez; Felipe Loyola, Eduardo Vargas, Victor Davila

BOLIVIA TEAM NEWS: NO CHANGES NEEDED
After an impressive hammering of Venezuela, the Bolivians do not need to make any changes for this one with no injury concerns or fresh suspension issues.

CHILE VS BOLIVIA PREDICTION
There is the unfortunate possibility that this game may well decide which side finishes rock-bottom of the ten-team CONMEBOL 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying table. Chile have obvious talent and pedigree sprinkled through their squad but are limited, whilst Bolivia, despite their victory the other day, will fear returning to their usual form away from home. Given that, whilst Chile are slight favourites, a low-scoring encounter seems inevitable.
CHILE VS BOLIVIA TIP: UNDER 2.5 GOALS
