THE PREDICTION
For a second successive season, AC Milan are playing in an all-Italian European knockout match this week as they begin their UEFA Europa League quarter-final tie against Roma. Since the appointment of Daniele De Rossi, the Romans have been magnificent and the Giallorossi continued their improvement with a Derby della Capitale victory over Lazio at the weekend. AC Milan have also been impressive since the turn of the year with Stefano Pioli’s Rossoneri coming into this one on the back of a 3-0 hammering of Lecce at the weekend and they have now won seven successive matches across all competitions. This has the potential to be a genuinely brilliant and entertaining clash in which both teams scoring looks a good bet for this one.
