ARSENAL VS VILLARREAL PREDICTION
Villarreal made it seven wins from seven in the Europa League knockout stages after a 2-1 victory at home to Arsenal in their semi-final first leg. However, the Gunners are still well in this tie having netted a vital away goal in Spain and know that scoring first in the second leg would turn the semi-final on its head. Whilst the Spaniards have proven unstoppable in the knockout stages of this competition thus far, finishing the job against Arsenal will no doubt prove their hardest challenge. Mikel Arteta’s side have found the net at least once in 12 of their 13 matches in this season’s Europa League and considering that they are likely to deploy an ultra-offensive style of play in a bid to haul themselves back into this tie, it would be a big surprise if they weren’t to score at least once in this second leg.
