THE PREDICTION
This was an extremely entertaining, and still surprising first-leg. After coming through the UEFA Champions League preliminary round, Vikingur Reykjavik were expected to be hammered by Swedish champions Malmo. Despite being down to ten men for over 50 minutes of the match, the Icelanders managed to keep the game at a respectable level, losing just 3-2. Malmo, under the management of Milos Milojevic, have struggled in the defence of their Allsvenskan title in 2022 and they have been low-scoring throughout the season. Malmo remain firm favourites but Vikingur have shown they are capable of scoring so over 2.5 goals, once again, looks likely.
