Two teams who have made unbeaten starts to their domestic campaigns meet in Group D, as both Tottenham and Marseille return to the Champions League after last competing in the 2019-20 competition. A low-scoring encounter would not be a surprise here, with three of Spurs’ last four games seeing two goals or less, while the same can be said of Marseille’s last two encounters. You’d have to favour the hosts on home turf, particularly with Harry Kane doing the business so far this campaign, but Marseille will be no pushovers so under 2.5 goals is the tip.
