THE PREDICTION

Reigning European champions Real Madrid have shown very little weakness this season with Carlo Ancelotti’s side still unbeaten in 16 games across all competitions in 2022/23. Progression to the round of 16 has already been guaranteed but top spot can be confirmed by avoiding defeat here, and given their sustained high level of play, you would back them to do just that. Leipzig have been a much improved side since Marcos Rose took over in early September, but they are still a level below Los Blancos, with an away win on the cards.
