THE PREDICTION
3-1 up after the first leg, it’s difficult to imagine Liverpool slipping up here on home turf, especially given the form they are in. Their biggest obstacle will likely be fatigue after their pulsating Premier League clash with Man City over the weekend, but Jurgen Klopp is blessed with a fully-fit squad here and may choose to make one or two alterations to freshen his team up. Benfica’s chief weapon is the highly sought-after Darwin Nunez, whose reputation continues to grow after scoring the Portuguese side’s only goal in the reverse fixture. The host should ultimately have too much for the visitors though, and another Liverpool win looks very much in the offing.
