THE LOWDOWN

PORTO

Porto are in a strong position to advance to the round of 16 and proved their superiority over Antwerp in the reverse fixture two weeks ago, with Sergio Conceicao's men producing a 1-4 victory on that occasion.

They have experienced mixed fortunes since that win, with their two Portuguese Primeira Liga outings in the interim seeing them beat Vizela and most recently lose at home to Estoril.

ANTWERP

It has been a humbling Champions League campaign for debutants Antwerp, who have lost all three Group H games to date and conceded 12 goals in the process.

While qualification to the round of 16 is all but mathematically beyond them, they do still have a realistic chance of finishing in third place and making it into the Europa League, although they simply must sure up their defence if they are to achieve that.

THE TEAM NEWS

PORTO

Attacker Galeno has not featured since these two sides last faced each other two weeks ago due to a thigh injury, and he will not be considered for selection here.

Ivan Marcano, Wendell and Ivan Jaime are also out of action with their respective injuries.

PREDICTED XI (4-4-2): Diogo Costa; Jorge Sánchez, Pepe, David Carmo, João Mário; Francisco Conceição, Varela, Eustáquio, Aquino; Taremi, Evanilson

UNAVAILABLE: Marcano (Injured), Wendell (Injured), Jaime (Injured), Galeno (Injured)

QUESTIONABLE: Zaidu (Injured)

ANTWERP

The Belgian side are significantly weakened at the moment with five players out injured and goalkeeper Jean Butez on paternity leave.

Much depends on the goals of striker Vincent Janssen, who is the club's top scorer this season with seven goals in all competitions, although he is yet to score in the Champions League group stage this term.

PREDICTED XI (4-3-3): Lammens; Bataille, De Laet, Coulibaly, Wijndal; Alhassan Yusuf, Vermeeren, Muja; Ekkelenkamp, Balikwisha, Janssen

UNAVAILABLE: Alderweireld (Injured), Butez (Personal reasons), Engels (Injured), Keita (Injured), Ondrejka (Injured), Valencia (Injured)

THE PREDICTION

It's fair to say Antwerp have looked out of their depth so far in the Champions League, with no other side in the whole competition having conceded as many goals as they have at this stage. Porto, on the other hand, look every bit a round of 16 team and can make a significant step towards that with another victory here. After they comfortably won in Belgium two weeks ago, expect another routine victory for Sergio Conceicao's side.
