THE TEAM NEWS

MAN UTD

Casemiro is suspended for this one so Scott McTominay - who has found a knack for scoring of late - is set to continue in the heart of midfield, while Sergio Reguilon is over a recent bout of illness and could come back into the fold at left-back.

Harry Maguire, impressive of late, is likely to keep his place in central defence and could be partnered by Raphael Varane, who was benched by Erik ten Hag for the weekend victory over Sheffield Utd.

PREDICTED XI (4-2-3-1): Onana; Dalot, Varane, Maguire, Reguilon; Amrabat, McTominay; Fernandes, Eriksen, Rashford; Højlund

UNAVAILABLE: Casemiro (Suspended), Malacia (Injured), Martínez (Injured), Shaw (Injured), Wan-Bissaka (Injured)

QUESTIONABLE: Evans (Injured), Reguilón (Fitness)

COPENHAGEN

Copenhagen will be without long-term absentee William Clem due to a broken leg, while left-back Birger Meling will also not be part of the travelling squad to Manchester.

Nicolai Boilesen and Davit Khochlova, meanwhile, are considered doubtful to participate in this fixture.

PREDICTED XI (4-3-3): Grabara; Jelert, Vavro, Diks, Sørensen; Lerager, Falk, Gonçalves; Elyounoussi, Claesson, Achouri

UNAVAILABLE: Clem (Injured), Meling (Injured)

QUESTIONABLE: Boilesen (Injured), Khocholava (Injured)

THE PREDICTION

Having lost their first two games in Group A, this is almost must-win territory for Man Utd, who are still struggling to find any rhythm this season. Since losing to Galatasaray on Matchday 2, they have recorded two unconvincing wins over Brentford and Sheffield Utd in the Premier League, and they now face a Copenhagen side who sit top of the Danish Superliga. The hosts competed well with German giants Bayern Munich in their last Champions League fixture, and were rather unfortunate to come out on the losing side. With this in mind, and given Man Utd's lack of any real form, a draw would not be a huge surprise here.
