THE PREDICTION
Liverpool endured another frustrating result in the Premier League this past weekend, drawing at home to Brighton and they have little time to reflect on their domestic struggles as they welcome Rangers to Anfield for an all-British affair. The Scottish giants have not started their group campaign well, comprehensively losing against both Ajax and Napoli. When comparing both squads, Liverpool with home advantage in their favour should prove too strong for the visitors, but it’s important to factor in that the Reds have kept just one clean sheet in their last five games in all competitions. With that in mind, Rangers are more than capable of at least scoring their first goal in Group A, even if they do wind up on the wrong end of the final result, so back Liverpool to win with both teams scoring.
