THE PREDICTION

Salzburg remain in the driving seat in Group G despite their defeat to Wolfsburg last time out and they will be determined to secure qualification to the round of 16 here so that their fate doesn’t hinge on the final matchday of the group stage. Lille have high hopes of their own though and are firmly in the mix after a stuttering start to the campaign. In Jonathan David they have a striker in fine form, with the Canadian international having scored seven of the French side’s last nine goals in all competitions and he could be worth backing in the anytime goalscorer market given that Salzburg have conceded in every Champions League game so far.
