THE PREDICTION

PSG pulled off one of the most high-profile transfers in football history this summer, bringing Barcelona legend Lionel Messi to Paris and the Argentinian legend and newly crowned Copa America champion is set to link up with Kylian Mbappe and Neymar to form a mouthwatering front three for the French giants. Messi makes his Champions League bow for PSG in Belgium as Mauricio Pochettino’s side travel to Club Brugge in their first Group A fixture. Philippe Clement’s men put in a very good account of themselves in last season’s Champions League, missing out on qualifying for the knockout stage in the final round of group games, however they have been placed in a very difficult group this season and a far superior PSG team should comfortably get the better of them in this one. As for Messi, no doubt he’ll be looking to mark his first appearance in the Champions League for his new team in style and it would be no surprise to see him find the net.

TIP: LIONEL MESSI TO SCORE ANYTIME
