THE PREDICTION

Borussia Dortmund will be looking to improve on their run to last season’s Champions League quarter-finals and with prolific striker Erling Haaland within their ranks, anything is possible. Haaland already has 13 goals to his name in 2021-22 for club and country and he leads a Dortmund attack that has accumulated 17 goals in their six games played in all competitions so far under new head coach Marco Rose. Such an offensive force is expected to prove too strong for Besiktas to keep out, however the Turkish champions contain a couple of dangerous offensive weapons themselves in former Dortmund striker Michy Batshuayi and Canadian international forward Cyle Larin. The visitors are yet to keep a clean sheet in the Bundesliga this season and whilst they should outscore Besiktas, it would be no surprise if the hosts were to find the net at least once, so consider backing both teams to score alongside a Borussia Dortmund win.

TIP: DORTMUND TO WIN AND BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE
