THE PREDICTION

Despite home advantage, it’s very difficult to see Chelsea pulling a result out of the bag here given their struggles this season. Frank Lampard has overseen three straight defeats since he took temporary charge of the club and the lack of cohesion in the squad is apparent to see. Against such an experienced and high-performing Real Madrid side, it would be surprising to see this tie turn in the Premier League outfit’s favour. With a 2-0 aggregate lead, the Spaniards will be content to protect that and given Chelsea’s lack of potency up front, under 2.5 goals certainly has a good chance of coming in.
