BAYERN MUNICH VS SALZBURG PREDICTION
Coming off the back of a disappointing 1-1 draw with Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga over the weekend, European champions Bayern Munich return to Group A action in the UEFA Champions League knowing that victory over Salzburg would see them qualify for the knockout stage. The Austrian champions sit bottom of the group on one point, but have been rewarded for their attacking playstyle in this year’s campaign, having scored twice in all three of their group games so far. However, defensively it is a different story with Jesse Marsch’s men conceding a whopping 11 goals, including six against their opponents here when the two sides met back in Austria at the start of November. With home advantage and the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Leroy Sane and Serge Gnabry at their disposal, it is impossible to look beyond Bayern not just winning this match but winning comprehensively by at least two clear goals, as they should once again take advantage of a brittle Salzburg defence.
