AJAX VS LIVERPOOL PREDICTION

Liverpool come off a bruising Merseyside derby which saw them lose Virgil van Dijk to a long-term knee injury but they will be desperate to bounce back here. They make the trip to Amsterdam to face Ajax who have started the season in typical fashion although they did suffer a shock loss to Groningen prior to the international break. They have several new faces this season with the likes of Antony the latest young starlet to emerge from Brazil and they will relish facing this Liverpool defence without Van Dijk and Alisson. Liverpool will of course be confident themselves of scoring and with the team news and the styles of both teams being offensive-minded, goals at both ends is the way forward here.
