Travel Distances 2023/24 – National League

Here at TSZ we have put together a list of all the travel distances for the 2023/24 National League season.

The distances have been determined by using the shortest route by road on Google Maps at the time of writing. The mileage shown is for one-way journeys from a team's home stadium to the opponent's home stadium for all away games in the league campaign. The results DO NOT factor in the return journey, and as this is strictly a 'by road' analysis, other means of transport (e.g. train) are not considered.

TOTAL DISTANCES

  • Gateshead are the only team who will total over 5000 miles in the National League this season, with their average league journey coming in at over 226 miles. Including the return journey, that amounts to over 10000 miles!

WHAT IS THE LONGEST AWAY TRIP IN THE NATIONAL LEAGUE?

  • No National League journey is longer this season than that of the 334-mile journey between Eastleigh and Gateshead.
  • Chesterfield are the only side in the division who don't have any trips over 200 miles, with their longest being the 190-mile journey to Bromley.

WHAT IS THE SHORTEST AWAY TRIP IN THE NATIONAL LEAGUE?

  • No away day in the 2023/24 National League season is shorter than seven miles.
  • York don't have any away days under 50 miles this season, with their shortest being the 56-mile journey to Halifax.
