THE PREDICTION
With the Super League title way out of sight now Basel have lost some intensity to draw each of their last three against Young Boys, St. Gallen and most recently 0-0 at Sion. Travelling Luzern lost their Schweizer Pokal semi-final to Lugano on penalties on Thursday night but they have enjoyed some excellent recent form in the Super League with just two defeats from their last 10 league games suggesting they could escape relegation right at the last moment. Basel have lost just once at home all season long but it would not be a surprise to see a draw here, so backing the visitors with double chance could prove to be the shrewd move. However, five of Basel’s last six and each of Luzern’s last four league games have seen over 2,5 goals and that looks the sensible option here.
