THE PREDICTION

Marcelino has majorly improved Villarreal and, at the time of writing, do still have an outside chance of squeezing themselves into the top seven and the UEFA Europa Conference League spots. The Yellow Submarine pulled off a 1-0 victory over Girona in midweek and have been very entertaining to watch. Real Madrid are cruising their way to the end of the season and the UEFA Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund with the champions enjoying a 5-0 demolition of Alaves at the Bernabeu in midweek. Madrid may rotate this weekend but it may not matter because they simply don’t lose. Villarreal will test them, though, and Los Blancos have been susceptible now and then so an entertaining encounter seems likely at El Madrigal.
