THE LOWDOWN
MALLORCA
In 2022, Real Mallorca appointed Mexican boss, Javier Aguirre, in their first season back up in the top-flight. The Balearic Islanders ended up surviving and then improved last season and comfortably survived by moving into the middle-of-the-table. They lost Lee Kang-in over the summer and have tried to find a formula throughout the season with Aguirre coming under pressure.
They have started slowly so far this season and they have managed just one victory in their opening ten matches as they languish down in the bottom-half of the table, sitting outside of the bottom three and the relegation places. They come into this on the back of a 1-0 defeat away to Real Sociedad, last weekend.
GETAFE
Throughout last season, Getafe struggled and battled against relegation but eventually managed to stave that off by replacing former Watford manager Quique Sanchez Flores with Jose Bordalas, who had been in charge of the Madrid-based club. Bordalas has instantly instilled a more typically robust and aggressive style of football.
The visitors shared a 1-1 draw at home to Real Betis in their most recent outing, last weekend. They have now shared four successive draws and have managed just two victories in their opening ten matches and they have scored just 13 goals, which is a sure sign that a Jose Bordalas side are in operation.
THE TEAM NEWS

GETAFE
Getafe also have several key injury issues as the likes of Mauro Arambarri and Enes Unal are out with Gaston Alvarez and Damian Suarez also missing.
PREDICTED XI (4-4-2): Soria; Alderete, Mitrovic, Angileri, Rico; Carmona, Oscar, Maksimovic, Mata; Greenwood, Mayoral

THE PREDICTION
Managed by Javier Aguirre and Jose Bordalas, these are two teams that play in a similar style and will have similar seasonal goals with the ideas that reactive and defensive football will be able to maximise their chances over the course of the season. Both Mallorca and Getafe sit in the bottom-half and they have managed just three wins between them so far this season so a low-scoring encounter with under 2.5 goals appears inevitable for this one.
BETTING TIP: UNDER 2.5 GOALS
