THE LOWDOWN
GRANADA
It has been a generally miserable campaign for Granada this season as they begin the 35th match day sitting 11 points adrift of survival with just 12 to play for. The Andalusians were most recently hammered 3-0 by regional rivals Sevilla last weekend with goals coming from Marcos Acuna, Youssef En-Nesyri and Dodi Lukebakio.
Prior to that loss, Granada had been showing some signs of improvement since the appointment of Jose Ramon Sandoval. They cruised to a comfortable defeat of Alaves by two goals to nil before then holding Athletic to a 1-1 draw at San Mames and then hammering Osasuna by three goals to nil back at Los Carmenes.
REAL MADRID
Last weekend, Real Madrid were crowned Spanish champions. Los Blancos hammered Cadiz by three goals to nil at the Bernabeu with goals from Joselu, Jude Bellingham and Brahim Diaz. Barcelona’s subsequent 4-2 loss at Catalan rivals Girona meant Madrid were mathematically La Liga winners with four games of the season to go.
A few days after that saw Madrid ‘find a way’ as they so often do in the UEFA Champions League. Alphonso Davies gave Bayern Munich a 3-2 aggregate lead mid-way through the second-half before substitute Joselu notched a dramatic late brace to send Madrid into the final where they will face Borussia Dortmund at Wembley Stadium.

THE PREDICTION
In the last few weeks, whilst they have been focusing on their UEFA Champions League semi-final against Bayern Munich, Real Madrid have heavily rotated in La Liga but they have still managed to grind out victories, as they did against both Real Sociedad and Cadiz. Granada have improved and may cause a rotated Madrid side some problems but the visitors have suffered just two defeats throughout the campaign and both came against Atletico Madrid at the Metropolitano so backing another Madrid win, by any means necessary, is to be expected.
TIP: REAL MADRID TO WIN & UNDER 3.5 GOALS
