THE LOWDOWN
GIRONA
Under the management of Chelsea-linked Michel, Girona have enjoyed a magnificent campaign, regardless of their connection to the City Football Group. The Catalans, in just their fifth season ever in the Spanish top-flight, have already confirmed a top four finish and UEFA Champions League qualification.
Girona may well take their eye off the ball as a result in these final three matches as was perhaps the case in their typically entertaining 2-2 draw against Deportivo Alaves up in the Basque Country at the weekend. They have, as mentioned, been entertaining throughout the season with their 35 matches consisting of 129 goals.
VILLARREAL
It has been a fairly underwhelming campaign for Villarreal after the early season sackings of both Quique Setien and Pacheta but they are finishing strongly in the last few months with some entertaining football under the management of former Olympique de Marseille boss Marcelino. The Yellow Submarine come into this one on the back of another entertaining game last weekend.
They hosted an in-form Sevilla at El Madrigal and came out on top by three goals to two. Youssef En-Nesyri opened the scoring for Sevilla in the 26th minute before Alexander Sorloth equalised soon after. En-Nesyri made it 2-1 before half-time before a late Yerson Mosquera equaliser was followed by Sorloth scoring a winning goal deep into second-half stoppage-time.

PREDICTED XI (4-4-2): Jorgensen; Kiko Femenia, Bailly, Mosquera, Cuenca; Akhomach, Coquelin, Parejo, Baena; Goncalo Guedes, Sorloth
UNAVAILABLE: Denis Suarez (Injured)
QUESTIONABLE: Alfonso Pedraza (Injured), Gerard (Injured), Foyth (Injured)
THE PREDICTION
Now then, we are at the point of the season were ridiculously high-scoring, laidback affairs take place between sides with little to play for and it could well be the case for this one in Catalonia. Girona, as mentioned, have arguably been the most entertaining team in Spain, whilst Villarreal have been enjoyable to watch ever since their improvement began under Marcelino with five of their last six matches featuring both teams scoring. Both teams scoring looks the way to go for this one.
TIP: BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE
