THE LOWDOWN
CADIZ
Ever since gaining promotion to the top-flight, Cadiz have consistently punched above their weight to avoid the drop. The Andalusians started the season relatively well with two victories in their opening four matches but, under the management of Sergio, have drifted down the table to sit just outside of the bottom three and the relegation places.
Cadiz come into this one on the back of a fourth successive draw as they managed to hold high-flying Las Palmas to a 1-1 draw in the Canary Islands. The home team are winless in 15 matches inside 90 minutes across all competitions with that run of form including Copa del Rey games against lower league sides, Badalona and Arandina.
REAL SOCIEDAD
Coached by Imanol Aguacil, Real Sociedad play some of the most intense pressing football of any team in Europe but that intense football has been balanced very well this season in both La Liga and the UEFA Champions League – winning their UEFA Champions League group after a goalless draw against Internazionale last week.
Real Sociedad have been prone to being a little low-scoring and lacking incision and precision in the final third and that has cost La Real a fair bit in recent years. They have kept four successive clean sheets across all competitions but are the only team in the top six yet to have scored 30 goals in La Liga this season.

THE PREDICTION
Sergio’s Cadiz are joint lowest scorers in La Liga alongside the likes of Deportivo Alaves and Real Mallorca. The home team have been really poor over the last couple of months, struggling to even edge past lower league opposition in the cup. They face a Real Sociedad side that begin the weekend sitting inside the top six and still challenging for UEFA Champions League qualification and they are firm favourites for this one against poor opposition.
TIP: REAL SOCIEDAD TO WIN
