Motherwell bounced back from a close defeat at Celtic with a 2-0 win over struggling St. Johnstone last Saturday. They are one of the Scottish Premiership’s surprise packages this season as they start this weekend’s fixtures in fourth place, having spent so much of last campaign fighting relegation. This looks a tight game, though, with travelling Livingston unbeaten in three league games. Two 1-0 wins over Hibs and Dundee United and a 1-1 draw at home to a hardy Ross County suggests this could end up a stalemate with few goals. Taking double chance for Motherwell is a reasonable accumulator option but adding less than 2.5 goals outside of one could be valuable. Motherwell’s last four league games, as well as Livingston’s last five, have seen less than three goals.
