Dundee put daylight between themselves and rock-bottom Ross County with a huge 3-0 win at home to Motherwell on Saturday. They have now won two of their last three matches in the league and the feelgood mood from Saturday’s win at Dens Park is likely to spill over to this second-successive home game against travelling St. Johnstone, who have won just one of their last six. The visitors lost 1-2 at home to Hibs om Saturday but they will be confident of getting a result here too after beating Dundee 3-1 in the reverse fixture back in October. This looks a tough result to call but taking the hosts to avoid defeat with double chance looks a suitably cautious option.
