THE PREDICTION

Last season, Gil Vicente had an impressive second-half of the season as they finished in the top five and qualified for the UEFA Europa Conference League. The home team started this season very slowly but have once again picked up, albeit not nearly to the same extent. They now face the current league leaders, Benfica, who have had their lead shaved to four points at the top-of-the-table ahead of this weekend's round of fixtures. Roger Schmidt's side did earn a much-needed but slender 1-0 win at home to struggling Estoril. They remain favourites for this one but a low-scoring encounter is, once again, likely, due to their lack of fluency and poor form.
