THE PREDICTION
The home team come into this on the back of a 1-1 draw away to Maritimo in their most recent outing, last weekend. Arouca have drawn three and one won of their last four matches as they sit firmly in the middle-of-the-table. Sporting CP, under the management of Ruben Amorim, have a huge UEFA Champions League group stage match at home to Eintracht Frankfurt in midweek so could be set to rotate in this one. Given that, they could be quite disjointed so a low-scoring encounter, in which Sporting remain favourites, is expected.
