Under the management of Alessio Dionisi, Sassuolo have slid into the Serie A relegation battle and it is extremely surprising to many that they persisted with the former Empoli boss for so long. However, after their 3-2 defeat at home to his former club Empoli on Saturday, the decision was finally taken to part ways.
