THE TEAM NEWS

MONZA

Papu Gomez remains suspended for Monza for this weekend for non-footballing reasons, whilst both Patrick Ciurria and Andrea Carboni are also both out injured.

PREDICTED XI (4-4-2): Di Gregorio; Birindelli, Izzo, Mari, Kyriakopoulos; Colpani, Pessina, Bondo, Zerbin; Djuric, Mota

UNAVAILABLE: Gomez (Suspended), Ciurria (Injured), Carboni (Injured)

QUESTIONABLE:

FROSINONE

Simone Romagnoli and Manuel Lusuardi are both doubtful for this weekend, whilst the likes of Stefano Turati and Luca Mazzitelli are sidelined through injury.

PREDICTED XI (3-4-2-1): Cerofolini; Lirola, Okoli, Bonifazi; Zortea, Ibrahimovic, Brescianini, Valeri; Soule, Reinier; Cheddira

UNAVAILABLE: Mazzitelli (Injured), Turati (Injured), Oyono (Injured), Kalaj (Injured)

QUESTIONABLE: Romagnoli (Injured), Lusuardi (Injured)

THE PREDICTION

Monza are an ambitious club and they will be attempting to squeeze themselves in the top-half next season but are in danger of fizzling out this time around. Their 2-1 loss to Fiorentina at the Artemio Franchi last weekend means they are now winless in their last seven matches since returning from the March international break. Frosinone, under the management of former Roma boss Eusebio Di Francesco, begin this weekend’s round of fixtures sitting just outside of the bottom three and the relegation places on the goal difference. They had been much-improved of late with a tighter defensive record but were thrashed 5-0 by Internazionale last weekend. They will seek to shut up shop once again, though, and a low-scoring encounter appears inevitable for this one, regardless of whoever manages to come out on top.

TIP: UNDER 2.5 GOALS
