The home team have managed just one win in their opening seven matches and they went into the October international break on the back of back-to-back defeats. They did have a tough start in terms of fixtures but performances have not improved as the quality has eased.
FIORENTINA PREVIEW: FINDING FLUENCY
In each of the last two seasons, Fiorentina have reached the final of the UEFA Europa Conference League before losing to West Ham United and Olympiakos respectively. I Viola have qualified once again but there is a new manager at the helm.
Raffaele Palladino has endured an indifferent start to his reign since replacing Vincenzo Italiano. However, they come into this one on the back of a 2-1 defeat of AC Milan in their most recent outing at the Artemio Franchi.

Lecce have the frustrating misfortune of having to deal with several injury issues this weekend. Luis Hasa is sidelined alongside Filip Marchwinski as well as Medon Berisha, Mohamed Kaba and Kevin Bonifazi.

The home team are the lowest scorers in Serie A with just three goals in their seven games. The home team have been genuinely poor, despite flickers of hope a couple of weeks into the campaign. They now face a Fiorentina side that have lacked a certain fluency since tweaking their system and style from a back four to a back three with the appointment of Palladino. Given that, whilst Fiorentina are favourites, a low-scoring affair is to be expected.
