The home team come into this on the back of another frustrating performance and defeat last week. Lazio were defeated by two goals to one away to Sassuolo to make it just two wins in their last seven matches in all competitions. Maurizio Sarri’s side have drifted down towards the middle-of-the-table. They now come up against a Genoa side that, under the management of Andriy Shevchenko, sit in the bottom three and the relegation places ahead of this weekend’s round of fixtures. Shevchenko was appointed in the November international break and the former Ukraine boss has failed to ignite anything with the club having won just one game all season. Lazio will expect to win this one relatively comfortably, especially at home.
