JUVENTUS PREVIEW: A NEW ERA BECKONS
Massimiliano Allegri has departed the J Stadium in acrominious circumstances after a fall out with the board and what has been a generally disappointing second stint in charge in Turin and they are trying to evolve the squad into a younger and fresher group of players. The Bianconeri are Coppa Italia winners, though, after a typically grinding out performance against Atalanta with a 1-0 win about ten days ago.
Generally, though, their form in the second-half of this season has pretty much collapsed since mid-January when they were actually involved in Serie A’s title race. In their last 16 matches in Serie A, they have managed just two victories coming against Frosinone and Fiorentina and they come into this one on the back of five successive draws.
MONZA PREVIEW: AMBITIOUS MONZA IN MID-TABLE
The death of Silvio Berlusconi, who had been influential in Monza’s first ever promotion to Serie A in 2022, could and probably still does leave a cloud over the club but, under the management of Raffaele Palladino, they are firmly ensconced in the middle-of-the-table and preparing for a season in which they will seek to challenge for Europe next year.
The visitors come into this one on the back of a continuation of their poor run of form, though. They were beaten 1-0 by relegation battling Frosinone in their most recent outing last weekend with a ninth minute winner scored by Walid Cheddira and that means they are now winless in their last eight matches in Serie A.
JUVENTUS TEAM NEWS: DE SCIGLIO REMAINS UNAVAILABLE
Italian international defender Mattia De Sciglio remains unavailable for Juventus this weekend as they welcome Monza to the J Stadium. Paul Pogba is still a Juve player and remains suspended due to his doping ban.
PREDICTED XI (3-5-2): Szczesny; Gatti, Bremer, Danilo; Cambiaso, Miretti, Locatelli, Rabiot, Iling-Junior; Vlahovic, Chiesa
UNAVAILABLE: De Sciglio (Injured), Pogba (Suspended)

MONZA TEAM NEWS: CIURRIA OUT, CARBONI A DOUBT
Patrick Ciurria is unavailable due to injury for Monza, whilst Valentin Carboni is also a doubt for the visitors. Argentinian international attacking midfielder Papu Gomez is, like Paul Pogba, also missing with a doping ban.
PREDICTED XI (4-2-3-1): Sorrentino; Birindelli, Izzo, Pablo Mari, Kyriakopoulos; Bondo, Gagliardini; Colpani, Pessina, Dany Mota; Djuric
UNAVAILABLE: Ciurria (Injured), Papu Gomez (Suspended)
QUESTIONABLE: Carboni (Injured)
JUVENTUS VS MONZA PREDICTION
As mentioned, Juventus have been miserable and they have endured five successive draws ahead of this one but they showed some real fight against Bologna last weekend against their potential soon-to-be new manager, Thiago Motta. They were 3-0 down in that game but salvaged a three-all draw. Monza have struggled quite a lot in the final couple of months and a comfortable Juve win to finish a frustrating season.
