Gian Piero Gasperini’s Atalanta have had a difficult UEFA Champions League campaign whereby they were eliminated last week but they have begun to click going forward in Serie A. The Bergamasci have been the highest scorers in the Italian top-flight for the last three seasons and they now come into this on the back of six successive wins in which they have scored 17 goals. They now come up against a Roma side that have been struggling under Jose Mourinho but they do come into this on the back of a much-needed 2-0 win at home to Spezia last weekend. Atalanta will come into this as the relatively comfortable favourites in what could be a high-scoring encounter.
