AC MILAN PREVIEW: END OF THE PIOLI ERA

AC Milan come into this one on the back of a 3-1 defeat to Torino in their most recent outing at at Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino, last weekend. Duvan Zapata opened the scoring for Torino in the 26th minute before Ivan Ilic notched in the 40th minute and then Ricardo Rodriguez made it 3-0 shortly after the break but Ismael Bennacer scored a penalty consolation in the 55th minute.

The Rossoneri have now managed just one win in their last eight matches across all competitions with those results also including a two-legged 3-1 aggregate defeat to Roma in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Europa League last month. Their only win came against relegation-threatened Cagliari a couple of weeks ago.

SALERNITANA PREVIEW: DOWN AND FINALLY OUT

Salernitana are finally finishing up what has been a miserable campaign from start to finish. In their 37 matches so far this season, the Salerno-based outfit have managed just two victories and begin the final day sitting some 18 points adrift of safety and using their fourth different manager of the campaign.

After the sackings of Paulo Sousa, Filippo Inzaghi and Fabio Liverani, Stefano Colantuono is overseeing the end of their season. They come into this one on the back of a 2-1 defeat at home to Hellas Verona in which Tomas Suslov and Michael Folorunsho made it 2-0 before half-time and then Giulio Maggiore scored late on.

AC MILAN VS SALERNITANA PREDICTION

A couple of weeks ago, Salernitana had the lead against Juventus deep into second-half stoppage-time but they were denied that victory due to a late equaliser from Adrien Rabiot. So, whilst many will expect AC Milan to produce another comfortable hammering at San Siro like they did against Cagliari, it might be a little difficult this time around. That result and performance, though, was against a distracted and suffering Juve team so Milan should still cruise to victory here.
