SERBIA PREVIEW: ONE POINT FROM A POSSIBLE SIX SO FAR

Serbia were dealt two tough fixtures to begin the group stage and to come out of those with a point may be seen down the line as very important depending on the outcome here. To shut out European champions Spain and draw 0-0 deserves huge credt. Although Denmark did outclass them in Copenhagen last time out.

SWITZERLAND PREVIEW: STILL SEARCHING FOR THEIR FIRST POINT

Defeat at home to Denmark in the opening round of games was followed up by a thumping 1-4 loss at the hands of Spain in Geneva. The Spanish outclassed Switzerland in that one, but the latter will no doubt see this next match as considerably more winnable when taking into account the opposition’s troubles.

SERBIA VS SWITZERLAND PREDICTION

With the number of big players unavailable for Serbia, this should be seen as a real opportunity for Switzerland to get that all-important first group win. If they can regain that defensive solidarity shown at Euro 2024 then the Swiss are more than capable of picking up a positive result what with their counter-attacking threat. Consider utilising the double chance market and backing Switzerland to pick up at least a point, if not all three.
