THE PREDICTION

This is a hugely important match. As it stands in Group A, the Netherlands are on two points, sitting below Belgium on goals scored. Belgium face Portugal, on one point, whilst current group leaders, Georgia, will be eliminated if both Belgium and the Dutch win in this final round of fixtures. The Netherlands have depth throughout their squad but will be quite frustrated with back-to-back draws so far. Georgia, it is fair to suggest, may not have qualified for this competition if they weren’t hosts but they have surprised everyone by collecting four points in their opening two matches by beating Portugal and then fighting back from 2-0 down to draw with Georgia. The Dutch need to and will be confident of scoring but Georgia will show serious fight as they challenge for a surprise knockout qualification.
