THE PREDICTION
Senegal had a disappointing return to action as they crashed to a 3-1 defeat against Morocco last Friday in their first game of 2020. The 2019 AFCON runners-up lacked the attacking spark of Sadio Mane for that contest, and as the Liverpool man is also missing for this game they might find goals hard to come by against a Mauritania defence that is a solid unit. The visitors have kept clean sheets against the likes of Morocco and Tunisia over the last 13 months and they won’t be easy to break down. The trouble for Mauritania though, is that if they do fall behind they lack the attacking threat to really trouble Senegal and so it might just take one goal to win this contest.
