THE PREDICTION
Poland face Iceland in their final friendly match before their first EURO 2020 encounter against Slovakia this coming Sunday. Having won just one of their six matches (including friendlies), Paulo Sousa’s side will be desperate for a morale boosting victory here ahead of the European Championships. Iceland are in poor form themselves, losing eight of their last ten fixtures (also including friendlies). In Poland’s most recent friendly fixture against Russia, key striker Robert Lewandowski did not feature. However, the Bayern Munich superstar is expected to be afforded some minutes in this match and providing Lewandowski does start for Poland, he should be able to lead his side to a win in this one.
