THE PREDICTION

This pair of nations both failed to win on their return to action in September’s UEFA Nations League double-header, with Germany drawing against both Spain and Switzerland, while Turkey followed up a 1-0 home defeat against Hungary with a draw in Serbia. With two more key fixtures in the Nations League within the next eight days for each of them this friendly match does not really take on too much significance, and the team selections of the coaches will reflect this. Joachim Low is expected to field a number of fringe players, and the likes of Manuel Neuer, Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka, Serge Gnabry, Lukas Klostermann, Marcel Halstenberg and Toni Kroos will certainly play no part in this game. Senol Gunes has named a 27-man squad for Turkey and a number of first-choice players may also sit this one out with a tough game against Russia coming only four days after they face Germany in this fixture. Although Germany seem likely to win this match, some caution is recommended due to their weakened line-up, the recommended bet is on both teams to score.
