THE PREDICTION
A match against Botswana at the weekend was postponed after their 3-1 defeat of the Central African Republic last week. Tanzania were relatively impressive in their FIFA World Cup qualification elimination in the Autumn of 2022. Defeats at home to Benin and the Democratic Republic of Congo cost them, though. They now come up against a Sudan side that endured a tough AFCON campaign, eliminated in the group staged. They are now winless in their last 15 matches and they have scored just eight goals in those 15 games. Tanzania will come into this as the relatively comfortable favourites, especially with their home advantage.
