THE PREDICTION
Tata Martino is under some pressure as Mexico boss. El Tri have suffered some surprise defeats in CONCACAF’s 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification and the former Barcelona manager is struggling to implement his attacking philosophy to an effective standard. He is without several key players for this friendly - as are Chile, though. The Chileans have improved greatly in the Autumn as they look to push into the top four and qualify for the World Cup themselves in CONMEBOL qualification. However, they remain an ageing side, despite an introduction of youngsters - a theme that is expected to continue in experimental fashion in this game. These are two sides looking for a formula playing in a relatively meaningless exhibition match so a draw would appear likely.
