THE PREDICTION
After falling behind 0-2 at home to Malta this past Saturday, Slovakia managed to stage a second-half recovery to salvage a 2-2 draw and pick up their second draw in successive Group H matches. They host group leaders Russia this coming Tuesday with the visitors the only side in the group to have won both of their opening fixtures. With five goals scored over the course of those two games, Russia’s potent offensive have seen them overwhelm opposition defences and they’ll be looking to take the game to Slovakia. However, this could lead to them leaving gaps in their own half for the hosts to exploit on the counter attack and whilst Russia will head into this contest as favourites, both teams to score does appear to be the smart play.
