THE PREDICTION

Sweden came through a hard-fought battle in their first Group B fixture, beating Georgia 1-0 to go top of the group after Spain could only draw with Greece. To guarantee their place at the top of the table after the second round of fixtures, Sweden need to pick up another three points away to Kosovo. The hosts’ last competitive international fixture saw them end a run of eight matches without a win with victory against Moldova in the UEFA Nations League back in November. Sweden however, represent far more challenging opposition and Kosovo’s lack of match fitness is likely to work against them here against a visiting side full of momentum. Therefore, it would be a surprise if Sweden were not to make it two Group B wins in succession here.
