THE PREDICTION

South Korea come into this after an impressive international break in June. The Koreans won four out four but did sort of stumble past Lebanon in their final qualifier. It must be said, though, South Korea were much changed for that match. They come up against an Iraq side that led their group for much of qualification but ended up finishing as one of the better runners up because of Iran’s late storm towards the top-of-the-group. Iraq will remain competitive but this is one of their toughest games in the third round and South Korea will be the favourites to win, especially at home.
