Carlos Queiroz’s Egyptian side come into this on the back of being knocked out in the semi-finals by a very solid and stubborn Tunisia. Egypt’s attention will now turn to the 2022 AFCON next month whereby they will return to having a full strength squad. Qatar benefitted from an astonishing amount of added time to equaliser against Algeria in the semi, until Algeria then won a penalty just seconds later and knocked the hosts out. The hosts will be confident of notching against a strong Egyptian side. Third place playoff in most competitions tend to be entertaining so both teams scoring in this one would look a solid bet.
