THE PREDICTION
Both of these teams won their opening match of the Arab Cup but it
was Morocco’s victory that really caught the eye. They were 4-0 winners
over Palestine which was their tenth success in-a-row in all
competitions. Their outstanding unbeaten run now stands at 24 matches
and their clean sheet against the Palestinians was their 12th
in their last 13 games. Jordan got the better of Saudi Arabia in a
tight affair as they recorded a fifth win in six matches but the
Moroccans have performed so consistently over such a long period that
they have to be favoured in this one.
